Laboratory Technician
The Company
This Perth based company is currently seeking a laboratory technician to join a gold and base metal chemical analysis laboratory that provides services to the mining industry. They analyze around 9000 samples per week from large mining explorers.


The Role
• Full time hours working Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend and overtime required
• Setting up and operating AAS for analysis of gold and base metals
• Sample preparation
• Wet chemistry techniques
• Acid digests
• Writing reports


Skills and Experience
Desirable applicants will possess:
• Certificate in Laboratory Techniques, BSc in Chemistry or equivalent
• Previous mineral laboratory experience
• Willingness to learn in a busy mineral laboratory
• Ability to work shifts as required
• Full working rights in Australia
