About the Role

The Events Manager reports directly to the General Manager Hospitality and Event Operations  and is responsible for event sales, execution and delivery of  both non raceday and raceday events.

Working as a part of the hospitality team, you will manage a series of exciting corporate, entertainment  and hospitality events from end to end, manage deadlines and budgets.



Primary Responsibilities include:

Holistic management of key raceday and non raceday events, end to end
Manage event production, deadlines and budgets
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients and suppliers
Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure fulfilment
Host and support key talent for various events
Meet financial targets, KPI’s and business objectives
Support and lead  a small hospitality and event sales team
Analyse event performance and prepare metrics reports
Comply with all insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations
Contribute to the business development of key events and strategic planning of hospitality products


To be considered for this position candidates will have:

A minimum of 3 years previous Event Management experience
Excellent attention to detail
A passion for organising events and flexibility to run on tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task, respond quickly to changes and find solutions in challenging situations
Positive "can do" attitude and able to work closely with different teams
Excellent written, communication and organisational skills
Excellent customer drive
Be available to work weekends and public holidays according to event calendar
