Rates Officer Contract Role 3 Months

We work solely within the Local Government sector and have a variety of upcoming opportunities in both metropolitan and regional areas of WA calling out for professional Rates Officers.
Some of your duties will include the effective collection of levies, rates and other revenue streams, oversight of debt recovery and ensuring compliance with statutory and policy requirements.
The successful candidate will possess:
Demonstrated experience in a finance role with a particular emphasis on rates
Experience with Synergy Soft/ Authority/ Technology One accounting software (Essential)
Local Government experience (Essential)
Licencing experience will be advantageous
Working knowledge of Council's organisational structure and function
A current national "C" class driver's licence
