Robert Half are currently recruiting for a well-known WA based business that are located within close proximity to public transport. Due to recent growth and movement within the team they require an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join them on a temporary basis with the view to going perm if the workload continues to increase. To be considered you must be available for an immediate start. You will be well supported within a friendly and welcoming team who will be on hand to offer initial training.

The Role

Reporting to the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

Conducting credit checks on new customers
Looking after a medium sized ledger
Daily allocation of payments
Bank reconciliations
Resolving discrepancies by liaising with customers and internal staff
Medium volume of daily debt collection calls and emails
Monthly reporting and running aged trial balance reports

To be successful in the position,

Ability to work within a team
Similar Accounts Receivable experience
Confident and clear telephone manner
Good time management to ensure deadlines are met
Experience with receipting, reconciliations and direct customer contact
Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment
