Experienced trade background as either a Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter

The Role
Due to growth within our industry we are seeking a Business Development Manager with a trade background as either a Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter.
This role will include Sales, Account Management and onsite Supervision at times and will be a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven candidate ready to take the next step in their career.
We offer on the job training and the opportunity to work with a Management Team that is focused on success.
The Duties:
Primary client contact at their offices, workshops or sites, both local and remote locations
Negotiating competitive rates of employment, that realistically reflect customer requirements & current labour market conditions
Have a depth of understanding of our client’s business and labour requirements
Being computer literate - training on our in-house database is provided
Being able to communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of management
Being able to maintain a positive, professional composure in what can be a fast paced & emotional industry.
Onsite Supervision when required. Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
The Candidate
The successful candidate needs to be highly motivated, team-oriented with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with previous exposure to the Labour Hire Industry and an understanding of the needs of the engineering and mining sectors.
Only candidates with a Trade background will be considered for this role as previous mine site experience is a must as this role will at times require you to work on various sites as a Supervisor.
