Chemform is a medium sized privately owned business. The company is a rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of chemicals that supplies many different market sectors.

Chemform’s production department has an opening for a factory hand/chemical blender in the production department.

It is a full time position (38 hours per week).  Starting wage rates are well above award rates and are based on qualifications and experience. A three month probationary period applies.                                               

The job involves (but not limited to):

Blending and packing of chemicals
Driving forklifts
General factory duties
Basic plant and equipment maintenance
Understand and follow production work orders and procedures and complete associated records thoroughly
Cleaning hazardous chemicals from containers
Labeling
Taking samples


Essential Qualifications:

Forklift License – current to meet the requirements of Worksafe W.A.

Driver’s License – current ‘C Class’ (previously ‘A Class’)

Evidence of these two licenses’ must be brought to the interview

Must have a sound knowledge of basic mathematics, all interviewees’ will have to sit a mathematics test.
