Manager People & Performance
The time is now!

Partnering with inspiring business leaders, as Manager, People and Performance, you will develop effective working relationships, influencing managers and leaders in the development and delivery of the people strategy in order to support the operational and strategic plans.  A further focus is on building our people’s capability and continuing to enhance employee engagement through the execution of talent management and succession planning programs. You will be part of the Business Services team and be responsible for the supervision and leadership of an HR Coordinator.

The Role
You will contribute at both strategic and operational levels to identify HR and WHS priorities and implement appropriate people management solutions across the following key areas of responsibility:

Strategic HR management
Workforce planning
Employee relations
Performance management
Learning and development
Organisational development
Reward and recognition
Workplace health and safety
You will provide expert professional advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of people management which fully reflects Vinnies WA’s desire to be an employer of choice while ensuring we are operating in line with current employment legislation and best practice.

The Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:

Significant HR business partnering experience across a range of areas including HR strategy, organisational development, recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, remuneration and reward, employment relations and workplace health and safety;
Knowledge of Australian employment and health & safety related legislation, HR theory and practice, and experience in applying both;
The ability to establish credibility with ease;
A high level of professionalism, attention to detail and a down-to-earth approach.
In addition to the above, you will have solid communication skills; a high degree of confidentiality and a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or other relevant disciplines.
