Engineering Officer (Coastal)
Under the Engineering and Parks Business Unit, we are seeking and Experienced Coastal Engineering Officer for a short term contract with our south of the river client.

Skills:

Written and verbal communication skills
High level of self motivation
Substantial knowledge and experience in dealing with the physical, social, environmental and economic factors that influence beaches and coastal facilities
Knowledge of tender procedures, processes and regulations
OHS knowledge of procedures and risk management principles
Knowledge of a coastal and marine environment, including scuba diving, motor vessel operations
Substantial experience in management of the coastal zone
Contract Administration skills
Experience in the preparation of tenders and technical specifications
Certifications

Demonstrated competency in relevant software and computer aided design packages including AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Project and similar
Current "C" Class drivers licence
Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in coastal engineering
Completion of IPWEA Diploma of Public Works
