Business Development Manager - Grow Safe Fertilisers
About The Company:
Established in 2001, Australian Mineral Fertilisers is an innovative Western Australian based company that provides plant nutrition as well as high quality food and soil health inputs for the broadacre farming, retail gardening and commercial food production sectors.
About The Position:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible developing and executing a sales strategy; targeting both growers and distributors located in both metro and regional Western Australia. This position offers significant autonomy, earning capacity and work-life balance. As a key part of the client facing team, you will maintain and enhance networks and relationships within the industry.
Responsibilities:
Promoting a market-leading range of bio-mineral fertiliser and microbial products across the Wheatbelt
Working with Research and Technical Management, to develop bespoke client outcomes
Sales cycle and customer management
Contributing to and coordinating field research activities within the area
Arranging product demonstrations and promoting new product and service innovation
Attending industry events, while promoting the business locally
Requirements:
A history of effective Territory or Area Management
An alignment to the agribusiness industry
Excellent listening and client relationship management skills, such as time management
The flexibility to work autonomously and as a part of a dedicated sales team
A current driver’s license
Location:
The successful candidate opportunity can be based in a metropolitan location or in Western Australia’s iconic Wheatbelt.
