GRADUATE ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

The Opportunity
This is a permanent Perth based employment opportunity for a recent graduate with a locally recognised bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. The successful applicant will:
Be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written);

Be motivated and willing to learn new skills.

The successful applicant will have the chance to work on a diverse range of electrical engineering projects throughout Western Australia: from hospitals. offices, shopping centres and apartments to mine sites, workshops, laboratories and train stations. Tasks will range from traditional electrical engineering to more specialist fields such as lighting, telecommunications, security and various other systems and technologies.
Excellent remuneration and incentives will be offered, including profit sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Working under the direction of a mentor, your key responsibilities will be to undertake a wide range of engineering tasks and contribute to successful project delivery, including:
Undertaking electrical design and documentation to Australian Standards and client specification, including engineering drawings, calculations, reports, specifications;
Working with our CAD/BIM drafting team to produce formal documentation;
Liaising, communication and coordinating with external members of project design teams including architects and other engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical and others;
Working with contractors and site personnel to address and resolve construction phase technical issues;
Attending site to inspect construction works;
Assist in preparing bids for new projects.
