PhD Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering
The School of Engineering at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is one of the fastest growing engineering schools in Australia with an annual growth of more than 20% in the last few years. It enjoys some of the best equipped hardware laboratories in the nation, with regular multi-million dollar investments into expanding and maintaining its world-class infrastructure. At the School of Engineering we are committed to undertaking high quality research typically with a multi-disciplinary approach.

One full time PhD scholarship in Petroleum Engineering is available. Applicants will be considered provided that they fulfil the criteria for PhD admission at Edith Cowan University and demonstrate excellent research capability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or Mathematics/Computer Science. The successful applicant will be expected to enrol by mid of 2019 latest, but as soon as possible. Applicants are expected to send an expression of interest before applying for admission. Expressions of interest should comprise:

a cover letter that includes a brief statement of the applicant's suitability
a curriculum vitae, including a list of published research
transcripts of their academic records and degrees
evidence of English-language proficiency (only relevant for applicants whose previous studies were not in English).
A living allowance of AUD$28,420 per annum will be granted, and tuition fees will be waived.
