Recently Qualified Graduate Architect or Technician

The Buchan Group Perth is looking for recently qualified graduate architect or technician to join our expanding team.  Applicants will preferably have 2 to 5 years' experience in a professional office environment and have a strong interest in design technologies and visualisation.

You'll have experience in the industry and be somebody interested in design, mixed use, retail, sustainability and place-making.

You'll appreciate a busy but friendly working environment and enjoy collaborating with a collective of practitioners in both design, documentation and execution of a range of medium and large projects. You'll be ready to join a great team, be a team player and work together on exciting projects.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume and short portfolio that demonstrates a commitment to design thinking, a clear demonstration of curiosity and a willingness to help make great buildings and places, and influence how technologies can support this.

Adobe suite, MS Office, Revit and Rhino skills will be highly regarded, as will demonstrated commitment to parametric design including Dynamo and Grasshopper.  Understanding computer hardware and networking concepts is very desirable.

Experience in technologies such as AR and VR, as well as digital fabrication is preferred.

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
