Creative Coordinator
Seven West Media is the leading listed national multi-platform media business based in Australia. We comprise Channel Seven, the leading free to air capital city television network; Pacific Magazines, the country's second largest magazine group by readership, Western Australia's leading newspapers The West Australian, The Sunday Times and associated WA regional newspapers and Redwave Media radio stations.
An exciting opportunity exists to join Western Australia’s leading media group in the role of Creative Coordinator.
Based in our Perth office and reporting to the Manager of Creative Services, this role requires you to organise incoming traffic, managing job allocation, ensuring deadlines are met and possessing strong print/digital design knowledge. This is a 12 month contract, covering maternity leave with fulltime hours.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Assigning, scheduling and estimating all incoming traffic
Managing job allocation based on designer skillset
Prioritising tasks to meet scheduled deadlines
Entering all new briefs and requests from internal clients
Ensuring all deadlines are met or arranges updated deadlines with the internal client
Being the first contact for all internal clients
Performing miscellaneous tasks, such as scheduling and WFM data entry, as directed by the Manager
Completing and submitting all appropriate reports
To be successful in this position you will:
Be a highly organised person
Have strong print/digital design knowledge
Possess skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Mac OS
Have good communication skills
The ability to work under high pressure
The ability to work in a team
