The Team
The Finance and Property Team is responsible for providing professional corporate support and property management services to Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA), and assists in the implementation of CEWA’s vision and strategic direction, LEAD (Learning, Engagement, Accountability and Discipleship).
The Finance and Property Team provides services in the areas of financial and management accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, accounts payable and receivable, property and asset management, travel bookings and catering. This is a part time (0.6FTE) temporary position commencing as soon as practicable and concluding 15 January 2019.
The Role
This position will be reporting to the Finance Manager and be responsible for assisting with end to end process for Accounts Payment. Duties will include but not limited to:
Payment processing;
Reporting and reconciliations;
Expense management;
Month end processing;
General administrative duties.
Your Background
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
Experience in using software and systems required for transactional accounting;
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work within a team;
Ability to ensure data accuracy through attention to detail;
Ability to take initiative, be proactive and self-directed.
