Your role

You will be responsible for managing a profitable functional area of the practice, leading the team, building the business, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional client services. You will consider yourself a natural leader who enjoys the sharing and transfer of knowledge to your team. Responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining long-term client relationships;
Identifying client assignment resource requirements, forecasting, allocating and overseeing work accordingly;
Recognising and promoting client consulting services such as business reviews, tax consulting and strategic planning;
Managing client’s overall work assignments ensuring high performance and standards;
Business and taxation consulting;
Developing client assignment budgets and monitoring their realisation;
Advising, supporting and coaching team members to achieve their best;
managing office based and remote team members.


Your attributes

You will be successful, and have a proven track record, in:

Developing and building client relationships;
Stakeholder management;
Strong coaching, review, mentoring and team development skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Time management and planning skills;
Ability to deliver client engagements on time and within budget;
Accounting and tax practices as they apply to SME's;
Ability to respond and implement change;
Technical and project management skills;
The continued development and welfare of the people around you;
Practical experience with cloud based accounting, taxation, workflow and analytical applications;
Be CA or CPA qualified with CTA and at least 7 years’ business services and taxation experience.
