About the business

About the role
The role will be dynamic, however we are broadly looking for a candidate who can take the reins in lead generation, follow up on warm leads, develop relationships with previous, existing and new clients, go to trade shows and market the products in Australia. There will be some requirement for travel both in Australia and overseas and depending on the capabilities of the candidate may be required to help the Managing Director with some of the international sales. The office hours are 0830-1630, however due to the nature of the role the hours of work will be flexible, we value results over the clock and as such will have sales targets to work to and will be required to take after hours sales calls.

Who we want is just as important as what we want. Promac is currently going through a revamp under its new Managing Director and is looking for a new team member to take control of the sales division. We are a young and dynamic team, we all wear multiple hats and have a 'can do' attitude to help each other out no matter our job title. As such we need someone who has the same attitudes and values as us when it comes to work and will fit in well with our small team. As previously stated, our customers are of utmost importance to us and the new role will be just as much about developing good relationships as it will be selling machinery. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge, is dynamic, a problem solver, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and can be relied upon to be part of the team and work well with everyone. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sales field to grow the role from the ground up. Experience in machinery sales and/or lighting is favourably considered but not essential. Candidate must also have:
Full drivers licence
Passport
Availability to travel interstate and overseas
