We have worked on well over 200 projects in more than 50 different countries and offer engineering and laboratory services and design, construction, commissioning and operation of modular process plant and equipment.

About the role

We are currently looking for process plant operators / technicians to work on a demonstration plant campaign for 4-8 weeks.  The role involves 12 h ourshift work, including day or night shift.  The roster is nominally 5 days / nights on and 2 days off but due to the nature of the project, flexibility and the ability to start within 2 weeks is paramount.

Skills and experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be well regarded:

operation of batch or continuous autoclave circuits
operation of batch or continuous atmospheric leach circuits
operation of continuous solvent extraction circuits
operation of batch or continuous pressure filtration circuits
operation of batch or continuous precipitation circuits\
experience in a continuous metallurgical processing plant or pilot/demonstration plant
forklift ticket
experience handling hazardous chemicals such as corrosive and flammable materials
In addition, you will need to possess the following:

a desire and ability to see and make improvements
a track record of high level performance in plant operation roles
computer literacy for using electronic logsheets
positive energy and a sense of humour
hands on, practical attitude and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g. unblock bogged slurry lines, replace minor wear/consumable items etc.)
