We have an amazing opportunity for an opening General Manager at Campus Perth and Hostel G- two innovative and exciting projects in their pre-opening stage.
Campus Perth
Campus Perth is a new wave of student accommodation opening its doors in January 2019 with four room types that have an emphasis on technology and design, Campus Perth will welcome over 700 domestic and international students.
Hostel G
Hostel G is Perth’s first 2.0 hostel with a focus on art, design and community living. With over 200 beds and 6 room types, Hostel G is more than just a provider of shared accommodation but an enabler of social experiences for travellers.
Both Campus Perth and Hostel G are energetic brands and will give unprecedented living experiences on affordable budgets.
Campus Perth and Hostel G are part of a growing portfolio of GCP Hospitality with 26 properties and 6000 keys in the world with an enviable reputation in the hospitality industry for providing asset management, hotel management and business development of the highest level.

About the Role
The General Manager’s role is responsible for managing the coordination of both Campus Perth and Hotel G from its pre-opening to operational stages. You will have previous management experience in student accommodation.
Previous experience in a similar role focusing on leadership and wellbeing in a student environment
You are creative, outspoken and pro-active.
Manage and deliver the pre-opening schedule as planned.
Monitor budgets, planning and implementation of Campus Perth and Hostel G Perth.
Prepare forecasts.
Manage required monthly reporting.
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that recordkeeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
Manage risk issues
Participate in key decisions as the leader and member of the executive management team
Optimize staff performance through training and development.
Supervise the Sales and Marketing team to achieve outcomes.
Supervise the company’s transaction processing systems.
Supervise the operational, accounting, human resources departments.
Student care including support services through to planned cultural, social, academic and mental health activities.
Hospitality Management or Student accommodation experience is a must .
