information pack. This contains lots of useful material including a booking
form, corporate sheet and general paintball information.
Our superb forested estate is located in Perth's Swan Valley. This is half
an hour's drive from Perth's city centre. Playing fields include a Sniper
Woodland, Capture the Village, Double Decker Bus, Speedball, Pinefield Blitz
and our new Maze Field.
We run games seven days a week on demand. Morning and afternoon sessions are
available. With as few as 20 players you can have your own private session.
If you have less than this, we can join you up with another group of new or
first time players. Players must be 12 years or over to play.
All our playing packages include the hire of state of the art paintballing
equipment, including a semi automatic paintball marker, tactical helmet and
camouflage coveralls, 10 different paintballing scenarios each lasting up to
10minutes. Cost per person is $20 and includes a sausage sizzle on Saturdays
and Sundays.
Paintballs are extra and work out at 25c per ball when purchased in lots of
100, or 16c per ball in quantities of 500. An average person will use 500
paintballs during a 10 game session of paintballing.
Bookings are essential and a deposit of $20 per person must be received at
least 2 weeks before the date of your game.

We cater for individuals, small and large groups. Your own private game can be organised with as little as 20 players. Advantages of organising a group are:

From its humble beginnings in 1981, Paintball has experienced phenomenal growth. An estimated 40 million people now play it worldwide in almost 200 countries.
Paintball is a sport played by people from all professions and lifestyles. Sporting teams, church groups and entire families play Paintball. Paintball is a character building sport. Players learn the importance of teamwork and gain self-confidence whilst developing leadership abilities. Companies arrange Paintball outings for their employees and find that it builds staff morale and improves team spirit. Paintball offers an exciting alternative to dull training seminars and everyday sales meetings.
Paintball is like a living chess game. Rather than speed and strength, Paintball requires strategy and imagination. Women compete equally with men. Although there are many formats, the typical game consists of two teams and runs for about 10 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the field and the number of players. The object of the game is to capture the other teams flag whilst protecting your own. You also try to eliminate opposing players by tagging them with a paintball expelled from a special gas powered marker. Referees enforce safety and game rules. Win or lose, everyone has a good time and there is always the next game waiting for you.
Equipment used in the game Paintguns Paintball Skirmish Australia use semi auto Paintball markers. The markers themselves are really only high tech blowguns and are specifically designed to propel a paintball. They are powered by carbon dioxide and at maximum range can fire a paintball about 50 metres. The markers come with a 200 paintball capacity vertically mounted hopper. This state of the art paintball marker will deliver paintballs on target with deadly accuracy.
Goggles For safety reasons paintball players must always wear approved goggles to protect their eyes during a game and whilst in other areas where shooting is permitted such as a target range. Paintball Skirmish uses the best in safety protection the JT X-fire Tactical System. These paintball goggles were originally designed for motocross and have been adapted for use in the sport of paintball to give the best possible all round protection whilst still allowing a clear field of vision. Insurance statistics prove that Paintball is one of the safest sports around.
Paintballs A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatine capsule with coloured liquid inside that is not really paint but vegetable food colouring. Paintballs look similar to bath oil beads and the fill is made of non-toxic, biodegradable components such as sorbitol (a sweetener) and glycol (a wax). Paintball is an environmentally safe sport as the paintballs biodegrade naturally given typical environmental conditions in a matter of days.

Organisers Guide
1. Pick a Date. Decide on a date for your game and call the Paintball Skirmish booking office on 9248 1693 to find out the availability.
2. Contact Players. Talk with the members of your group to secure their commitment to the date. You should also discuss the details of paintball purchases on the day.
Reservations: There is a Game fee of $20 per player, payable in advance. This fee guarantees the availability of a paintball marker, safety equipment, camouflage coveralls and all day play.
If you can get together a group of 20 or more you can have your own private session. This will mean that you are playing and shooting against people you know. For groups less than 15 we will join you up with an existing group. Players must be 12 years or over to play Paintball.
3. Collecting Money. COLLECT THE DEPOSIT MONEY IN ADVANCE FROM ALL PLAYERS. The biggest problem encountered by group organizers is collecting money from the players. When told about a paintball outing most people are excited and will commit to play however without their money there is no true commitment. We have seen over the years a number of organizers who have put up the deposit out of their own pocket only to have half of those who said they would come show up. No-shows forfeit their deposit therefore if the organizer has paid out of his pocket he/she will be out of pocket those deposits. As the organizer you should make sure that your players understand that the Booking Fee is non-refundable.
4. Game Reservation and Deposit. If you are paying in cash you must come to our office to pay. If you are paying in cheque(s) you may mail them. We recommend that you get the deposit in at least 30 days in advance to guarantee the date and equipment. We also take credit cards.
5. Player Information and Directions. Once deposits have been paid. Directions will be given to the paintball site. Ensure that all members in your party have been distributed directions and are aware of the start time. F.A.Q. What Do I Wear For A Paintball Game? We suggest you wear loose fitting clothing or jeans and a tee shirt, and outdoor shoes with good ankle support. Full camouflage overalls are provided. We recommend the use of scarves and gloves. You might want to consider bringing a change of clothing if you have plans afterward. Although the paint does not stain clothing and is washable, our playing fields are outdoors and you will probably get dirty.
Can I Bring My own Equipment? Yes. Safety goggles must be specifically made for paintball and be free of cracks in the lenses. A full-face mask and ear protection is required.
Can I Bring My Own Paintballs? No. Paintball Skirmish uses a specially made paintball of its own colour. Any players using non-field paint will be ejected from play.
Is Food Available? Yes. Paintball Skirmish has an abundant supply of ice cold drinks including bottles of soft drink (Coke etc) as well as sports drink and water. Included in package deals with deposits paid two weeks in advance is a barbecue lunch. Alcohol is not allowed.
How Much Money Should I Bring? Your initial reservation fee covers the basics…admission, rental equipment, safety and rules instructions, and all day play. Paintballs are sold separately.
How much paint will I shoot? The average player will shoot approximately 500 paint pellets in a full day. This average is what we have seen over the years. Some players will shoot less, some will shoot more.
