<h1>Destinations</h1>

<p>Curtin has over 90 exchange partnerships with universities in more than 20 countries.</p>

<p>Under an exchange program, you study at the host institution on a
tuition waiver basis, while remaining enrolled at Curtin. This means
you are still responsible for paying your Curtin tuition or HECS-HELP
debt, but you do not pay tuition fees to the host institution.</p>

<p>Most programs are offered in English. However, some non-English
speaking countries may only offer a small range of subjects in English.
So an exchange to one of these universities is a great opportunity to
brush up on your language skills.</p>

<p>Below you will find a list of Curtin's current partner institutions
(by country or division). There are two types of exchange agreements:</p>
<ul><li><strong>university-wide exchange agreements</strong>, which are open to students from all disciplines, and</li><li><strong>specific agreements</strong> which are only open to students of the Division or School that are party to the agreement. </li></ul>

<p>Some institutions have a limited number of exchange places per
semester/year. Students are encouraged to enquire as early as possible
(6-12 months in advance of the deadlines). </p>

<p><strong>In some cases a selection process may be implemented.</strong></p>
