compputer broken

Is there somebody who can give me some advice with my laptop?It was broken 2 weeks ago,I have tried many times, but the same problem still on. The following words appears on screen:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Run a system diagnostic utility supplied by your hardware manufacture. In particular, run a memory check, and check for faulty or mismatched memory. Try changing video adapters.
Disable or remove any newly installed hardware and drivers. Disable or remove any newly installed software. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Thank you very much,I did not bring recovery disc with me. It is HP ,windows Vista, I bought it a year ago in China [s:6] .There is recovery system inside the computer, but no way to find it. Every time I start it, it always keeps going and stops at the above screen.
Help!

the best way is to use recovery disc. Otherwise you may take our your HDD and put into external case to backup your data. Then borrow window vista disc from friend or download yourself. I'm sure you can find the drivers on HP website.

It does not matter to lose all information. What I want is to reuse it again. [s:5] I am not good at computer, even a simple problem is more than my ability. Could somebody give me a hand? I live in East Perth,I can pay some money for repair.Many thanks.

What model is your HP?

Which one is the model?

I type English because I can only type English on this computer,actually I can not understand these   computer terms fully. But I am sure you have more knowledge in computer than me.Thank you .

哦。原来你可以看中文啊，那好办多了。
很简单，你用电脑的时候无意间删除了什么程序，然后电脑启动找不到指定程序无法正常启动而已。如果你能记得你删除了什么就好了。记不起来也无所谓，直接覆盖一遍VISTA就好了。
问朋友借一张VISTA安装盘就行。有安装盘的应该都会安装。

No, I was not mistaken. I don't like vista and I don't use it either.

it maybe caused by memory card, have u droped ur laptop recently.

if so, u could reset up the memory card by open the laptop, make sure it is not slack from the motherboard.

每次操作系统更新换代都要经历一个过程，就好像我当年用惯了WIN98，死活不想换2000跟XP一样。毕竟新出的东西，多少不方便，而且跟自己有冲突。但换VISTA，是必然的结果。
