Payroll Officer | Permanent Part-Time Opportunity | Flexible Hours
An opportunity to join the recruitment industry and support the finance team; Aston Advantage are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a part-time basis.

Ideally you will be available in the initial weeks to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; however this is flexible. Going forward there will be much more flexibility; plus the ability to work from home.

The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller of the business your duties will include but not be limited to:

Preparation of weekly and monthly pay runs for up to 200 casuals
Using the online timesheet system to update pay details
Work with Fairwork website to ensure everyone is paid appropriately
Ensure all flat rates and penalty rates are paid correctly
Track invoices using excel, invoice clients
What you’ll need to succeed

Ideally you will have 5 years’ + experience in a payroll position
High attention to detail
Extensive ability to interpret awards, EBAs and a thorough understanding of current legislation.
Exceptional communication skills
Experience with MYOB is preferable
