SUDA Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a R&D company focusing on drug delivery technology. SUDA has a range of products at various stages of development and has licensing agreements with large pharmaceutical companies covering a range of territories throughout the world.

The company has its head office with its own laboratory in Osborne Park, has a business development manager in the US and has a global focus.

SUDA is looking for a business graduate, or similar, to support the commercial activities of the company. The role is broad with opportunities as the business grows. The company will provide training in all key areas.

The role, which has an accounting focus, reports to the Chief Financial Officer and involves working with managers and staff across the company.

The key aspects of the role include:

Business development support (Working with US-based Business Development Officer)

Assist in identifying new business opportunities;
Perform assessment on potential partners;
Perform market research on opportunities and to value projects by territories;
Review and report on ongoing discussions with potential partners.
Logistics (Working with Chief Technical Officer)

Source new and alternative products;
Prepare cost of goods calculations for each product with alternative suppliers and materials;
Manage the import and export of samples and products in conjunction with laboratory personnel;
Manage inventory levels in conjunction with laboratory personnel.
Accounting

Process invoices and manage accounts payable;
Manage payments and bank reconciliations, prepare BAS, payroll tax returns and monthly reconciliations;
Assist in preparation of management and financial reports;
Collection of costs by projects and invoice partners for work performed.
To be successful in the application of this role, you will have strong communication skills, able to work in a small and highly qualified team and have a background knowledge in accounting. You will have a commercial focus and willing to learn and take responsibility.

A degree in Business or similar discipline required. Prior work experience is preferable but not required.

Salary expectations: $60-70,000.
