The Role

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to Perth's top gala dinners and events, large scale conferences to small boardroom meetings, corporate events, exciting exhibitions, weddings and theatres performances, and the proud winner of the: Catering Institute Gold Plate Prix d'Honneur Award; and the WA Restaurant and Caterers Best Function Centre Caterer award.

We are able to offer an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and talented Chef who will be appointed as our Café Chef in our @Liberty Café.   This is your chance to work with like-minded, food passionate people. Be part of a team that cooks and prepares delicious cuisine and work in a kitchen that can produce top quality, luncheons using the best fresh local produce to cater for guests at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This unique and challenging environment is seeking to employ dedicated food and beverage specialist.            The @Liberty Café is seeking a driven, organised, and established professional to assist in bringing its guest experience to the next level.

Excellent organisation skills, ability to work independently to complete all kitchen related tasks, including:
All food preparation.
Customer service.
Cleaning of kitchen.
Knowledge of / qualifications in Food Safety.
Availability to work early mornings, nights and some weekends.
Strong personal presentation.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience as a Chef
