The PSU (Power Supply Unit) is the most important component in any computer system. This is even more so in high-end gaming systems which required a constant, stable supply of high-level current and voltage. Many PSU's these days are not able to supply the amount of power they specify. They have what is called a 'nominal power rating'. This means the company who manufactures the PSU decide what rating they think the unit can supply rather than the amount it can actually supply. The true rating is often as little as half the nominal rating. All good PSU's have a 'true' rating. This means that the PSU is certified to be able to supply this level of power under all conditions. Nirv only uses PSU's that have a 'true' rating which can supply the stated level of power at all times.
