This is not correct. if the first house is for owner occupied use, no matter you do Joint tenant or tenant in common, you are still not eligible for FHOG.
whether you wish to do it on a JT or TIC, depends on the relationship between the two parties. In normal case between husband and wife will go for JT. For investment or between bro's / sis' or even friends, TIC could be a better choice. |
