Fashion can be applied to a lot of things inside our daily lives, not just apparel.
We maybe choose to like a certain type of music as it is considered more fashionable or we may be more inclined to use certain slang terms in our speech as they are more 'trendy'.
My attitude may be a cliche but you express more than your personality with fashion, different parts of the world have different ideas on fashion and fashion is a key determinant to someone's socio-economic status.
And of course, you shouldn't always judge a book by it's cover, but sometimes, it's fun to decorate your own cover.
