Note all 457 visa and student visa holders - you don't need to put an application to FIRB (Foreign Investment Revision Board) when you buy your home (note, Home not investment property, can not be rent out)

However, conditions still apply...i.e. your property has to be sold if you are preparing to go back home if the property is second hand.
