Dvorák’s Eighth Symphony is one of the composer’s most popular works. Overflowing with lilting, folk-inspired melodies, it is a work guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of the most world-weary concert-goer.

Active Vincent Day & Pets in the Park - Free family fun day.
The town of Vincent hosts this fun packed active family day. Get physical, walk the pet down to Beatty Park Reserve and join in the festivities. Ride the camels, enjoy a free sausage sizzle, come and try rookie hockey, ultimate frizbee or handball shootouts.
The community safety team is on site, along with a bouncy castle, farm animals, bands, show rides and FESA fire truck.
Check your pet at the vet tend and relax with a massage. Tony Serve - Child Ambassador will be the MC. Join in and be part of the Pets Competition Finale.
Join Josh Byrne, ABC Gardening Australia Presenter and learn how green gardening can address many of the key environmental challenges that confront us.
Each session will demonstrate the principles of efficient design, recycling waste, growing food, saving water, creating habitat and organise garden management so that you can apply them in your own garden, however big or small.
This course is recommended for those wishing either to design a new garden or to improve their existing garden, especially in the areas of efficient water use, reducing or eliminating pesticides and creating an organic garden for Perth's dry climate.
Course content includes; good design, reducing energy use, go organic, growing food, recycle your waste, create habitat and save water.
The course runs for four weeks taking place every Wednesday night (1,5,18 and 22). Book the Green Gardening course for four people and receive a fifth place free. Contact extension@uwa.edu.au for further information.
