《逆戰》，這個戲名對我來說是充滿意義的。逆流而上的戰鬥，每天都在進行中；每項選擇、每次挑戰、每個矛盾，我們都沒可能逃避，一定要打下去。然而最後是非黑白，在人們重新覺醒，從新認識親情的時候，已經不再重要。
無論戲內抑或戲外，似乎都是連場硬仗。每一次拍攝電影都是一個重新發現自我的過程：人類，所謂的萬物之靈，根本沒有什麼獨特之處。每個人都平等地在跟自己的命運決戰，但會向著逆境拼命的本來就不只人類才懂，微小如病毒中的每個細胞也在戰鬥，變種只為戰勝人類。奮力求生、衝破障礙是必然的，為可再次跟親愛的人共聚，哪怕只有頃刻，也絕對不能放棄。

故事大綱
由英皇電影出品，耗資高達二億元製作，於國內、中東、東南亞等多地拍攝，動用真實軍事武器拍攝，《逆戰》於2012年1月全力爆發！《証人》、《綫人》金像導演林超賢全力執導；金像影帝謝霆鋒從影以來最「搏命」忘我演出；亞洲天王周杰倫只此一次，連場亡命動作親身上陣！聯同國內新星林鵬、白冰、型格動作男星安志杰、及金像獎演員金燕玲和廖啟智等強力加盟，英皇電影《逆戰》，2012勢要翻天覆地！
從少與母親相依為命的國際安全局探員Jon (周杰倫 飾) 深入軍事重地中東進行任務，豈料發生意外，槍林彈雨，同僚兼未婚妻Ice (白冰 飾)當場身亡，Jon亦身受重傷，留下隨時送命的後遺症。 Jon心感時日不多，決意離隊返家。母親於此時將隱藏多年的秘密告訴Jon，為了完成母親心願，他決意走一趟東南亞，卻預料不到此行會變成亡命之旅！途中他結識了醫療隊的醫生義工Rachel (林鵬 飾)，萬料不到Rachel被捲入一個國際犯罪集團的驚世陰謀，Jon挺身相救，多次的炮火追逐令他們的生命受到嚴重威脅，期間更發現其中一名敵人竟是Jon的親生哥哥萬陽 (謝霆鋒 飾)！豈料組織為了利益而出賣萬陽，同時綁架了他的女兒！為了救出女兒及Rachel，兩兄弟決意聯手對付敵人，更發現到組織的其中一人就是殺死Jon未婚妻的兇手！究竟萬陽的女兒及Rachel能否逃出生天？Jon與萬陽兩兄弟之間的誤解及羈絆又如何化解？

Statement
The Chinese title of this film, “Uphill Battle”, is very
meaningful to me. We go through uphill battles every day. With each choice,
challenge and conflict, we must keep fighting. And in the end, when we know
love, right and wrong are no longer important.
In movies as in life, we continuously battle. Every film is
another journey of self-discovery for me: Man, the king of all animals, is not
so unique. Everyone is equal as they battle their own destinies; not only
humans but even microbes have the instinct to fight for survival, and to break
through barriers. Any chance to be with loved ones, if even for a moment, is
not to be missed.
During the tumultuous production process, each day brings its own
revelations. We shot in different foreign locations. The changes in rhythms and
styles of each place were all uphill battles for me. But in the end, when I go
home and see my wife and daughter, my heart is that much more grateful.
SYNOPSIS
The Viral Factor, an Emperor Motion Pictures
production with a US$17 million budget, filmed in locations in China, the
Middle East and Southeast Asia using real military weapons, bursts onto cinema
screens in January 2012! The action-packed adventure is directed by award-winner
Dante Lam (The Beast Stalker, The Stool Pigeon), and stars award-winning
Nicholas Tse and Asian superstar Jay Chou.
IDC Agent Jon (Jay Chou)
sustains grave injuries on a mission and decides to spend his final days with
his mother. She tells him a long-held secret. To fulfill her wishes, Jon goes
to Southeast Asia. He befriends medical specialist Rachel ( Lin Peng). When she
is forced into the schemes of a criminal organization, Jon attempts rescue and
becomes the target of the organization that includes his estranged brother Yang
(Nicholas Tse)! When the organization betrays Yang and kidnaps his daughter
Sheng, the brothers join forces to rescue Rachel and Sheng.
