Shooting at a takeaway restaurant in East Victoria Park had people ducking for cover this afternoon.
A group of five men were eating at the fast food outlet when a fight broke out.
Witness Ben Papas said there was a gun and knives involved and that the restaurant was smashed up.
The brawl spilled over into the car park and one of the men ran to his car and pulled out a gun and shoppers ducked for cover.
Police arrested the 23 year-old alleged gunman several streets away.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
Two other men are helping police with their investigation.
