The Role
This role will give you immediate and direct exposure to your own client base. You will also report directly to the Director. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following;
Daily processing of all client Debtors and Creditors, including debt collection
Payroll processing (weekly, fortnightly and monthly)
Month-End reporting and reconciliations
Maintenance of employee registers
Superannuation compliance
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers
Accruals, provisions and all items required for accurate reporting of business performance and position
Reviewing current processes and investigating ways of increasing efficiency
Assisting with client queries
Your Profile
The role requires a self-starter, with great communication skills and a desire to produce the best possible outcome at all times. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, where you can demonstrate your ability to work autonomously. Xero experience is highly desirable.
Ideally, you will have completed or nearing completion of your CA/CPA. Candidates with significant experience but without CA/CPA will be considered.
Writing and comprehension skills are paramount as you will be reporting to numerous business owners, as well as the Director. We prefer candidates who are immediately available, but willing to consider a short delay if you are worth waiting for.
