Business Development Consultant
Become an energy market expert joining a leading consulting firm
Advice on climate change, sustainability and energy management challenges
Based in Perth
The Client
Our client consults and advises corporate clients and all levels of government into the energy sector across electricity, gas and renewables. They focus on the transition to a low carbon economy by providing advice on climate change, sustainability and energy management challenges. Being energy markets leading experts, they work with the majority of top tier businesses Australia wide to help them understand the impact of climate change on their risk profile and manage their energy usage strategically.
The Role You will be responsible for business development and account management as well as leading the delivery of projects portfolio:
Manage and develop multiple consulting projects.
Provide highest level Energy Procurement advisory services.
Identify energy efficiency and carbon reduction opportunities.
Provide strategic advice assessing the impact of government policy and energy market trends as well as financial insights.
Provide environmental reporting to government programs and voluntary carbon disclosure schemes.
Project management and execution of project delivery.
Build and maintain a pipeline of consulting projects within the Built Environment sector.
Closely interacting with, and drawing on the skills and experience of, specialists within the firm.
About you
As a business development expert and experienced leader, you will utilise your technical background and passion for diagnosing client needs, project delivery, management and quality assurance to achieve commercial success.
Possess a network of built environment sector contacts across energy and carbon management within Australia.
Demonstrate business development success and practical implementation of strategic account management approaches.
A passion for working with large organisations to help them understand the opportunities in responding to climate change.
Ability to identify client specific innovative responses that can create advantages over competitors.
Advantages
