Telwest Communications are an innovative and well established company specialising in civil construction within the telecommunications industry. Our teams are well equipped and work to very high safety and quality standards, and we are seeking like minded individuals as we take on new and exciting projects installing fibre optic cables and street network for major carriers within the Perth metropolitan area.



The position requires experience and knowledge in the following:

Experience in using and understanding service locators (2yrs minimum)
Ensuring that safety is your number one priority and always adhering to correct PPE requirements relevant for that particular task
Manual handling tasks (potholing etc)
General maintenance of plant and equipment with a mechanical aptitude
Reading and interpreting DBYD plans and construction drawings
Ability to work in a team environment
You will have/or be willing to achieve the following training and competencies:

Current White or Blue card (required)
Current HR drivers licence (required)
First Aid and current CPR (desirable)
Traffic Management (desirable)
Confined Space Entry (desirable)
Good remuneration offered to the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen, as well as random screenings once employed.
