Chief Executive Officer: Mining
A career and life changing opportunity to spearhead the establishment of an exciting new resource industry player, PVW Resources NL.

Supported by an enviable board and advisory committee with a reputation for successfully driving projects from exploration to production, this role will see you build a resources company from the ground level up.

With several gold tenements already secured in WA, the board is looking to secure a CEO as soon as possible, with an ASX listing earmarked for late 2018.

Reporting directly to the board, you will lead the organisation and be responsible for ensuring the strategic objectives of the board are met. This varied and challenging role will include financial management, policy and procedure development, stakeholder management, writing publications, and building strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.

As the public face of the company and CEO, you will also be required to represent PVW Resources in industry forums, government bodies and other committees.

The successful candidate will work closely with the board to:

Steward the IPO (Initial Public Offering) process and nurture the early-stage development of the newly created organisation including all contracts and commercial management.
Enhance and drive the promotion of company strategy to key investors, the market and broader stakeholders.
Provide disciplined stewardship to capital allocation while ensuring progressive outcomes in respect to asset development, exploration and commercial partnerships.
Drive the operational activities with a focus on early stage exploration.
Interpret critical technical information into succinct and credible consumption for potential shareholders.
Assess strategic options across both organic, M&A and other growth activities.
Build and maintain strong cost-focused initiatives throughout the organisation.
Build a cohesive, adaptive and industrious corporate culture that readily capitalises on opportunity as the company grows.


The successful candidate will:

Be a determined, motivated, ambitious individual seeking to take the next step in their career into a CEO position, or an experienced CEO looking for their next challenge.
Be responsible for roadshows to investors as part of the capital raising to finalise the IPO.  Support will be provided from other board members.
As the face of the company, have exceptional communication and networking skills evidenced through the ability to manage and influence multiple external stakeholders, and to positively influence decision makers including policy makers.
Be a highly collaborative strategic leader with a track record of corporate leadership within the mining industry, obtained through previous experience as a direct report into the Chief Executive Officer preferably.
Have strong commercial nous and financial management experience encompassing financial reporting and budgeting, with the poise and stamina to navigate external complexities and run multiple initiatives predominately autonomously.
Have the capacity to engage with and utilise the media as the principal spokesperson for the organisation.
Have high level networking and relationship building skills evidenced through widespread stakeholder engagement.
Be degree qualified in relevant disciplines such as geology, metallurgy, accounting or similar.
Have solid exposure interfacing with the market on early-stage mineral asset development in base metals.
Have a roll your sleeves up attitude in order to manage this hands-on position.
