Senior Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)
The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (Inc.) (WA PCYC) is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave on a 3 month fixed-term contract (FT) at our Head Office.
Who are we:
Established in Western Australia in 1941, The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (WA PCYC) is a not-for-profit organisation that creates opportunities for young people through the delivery of two broad youth services: development (intervention) programs and recreational activities. We manage in excess of 50 PCYC Centres and Blue Light Units throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia, as well as one camp facility.
Position Profile:
We are currently seeking a senior marketing professional/manager on a 3 month fixed–term (FT) contract to cover maternity leave. This senior professional is required to be extremely organised, goal oriented, and thrives on delivering outstanding results. You are very experienced in developing and managing brand, effectively maintaining key stakeholder relationship, creating sponsorship opportunity, develop and implement fundraising initiatives. This position will ideally suit someone with extremely well developed communication and negotiation skills.
Reporting to the Executive Management Team, you will provide valuable and timely advice and strategic direction as per the WA PCYC’s Marketing and Communication strategy.
We are looking for someone who will:
Increase connection and relationships with local and state-wide media outlets including radio, print, online and TV to increase broadcast of WA PCYC programs and activities, and WA PCYC and WAPOL relationship
Create a sponsorship proposal for potential sponsors that clearly identifies and outlines sponsor incentives
Identify potential and existing sponsorship opportunities, to attract and build business relationships and support for our core program delivery
Develop and deliver an annual sponsor night / sundowner to attract new and acknowledge existing sponsors and supporters
Develop and implement fundraising initiatives
Develop and implement strategies to improve donor acquisition and donor retention
Increase community engagement across the state, by working closely with centres to participate in local events utilising commercial assets
Work closely with the Grants Team to fulfil Grants Marketing and funder marketing and communications requirements
Selection Criteria:
Relevant qualifications in Marketing and Branding or similar discipline
Demonstrated capacity to develop new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic relationships
Experience in fundraising, marketing and brand management preferably within the not-for-profit sector
Strong and influential written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
